User Portal

Firmware Auto Update

VORTEX now will automatically push firmware updates to your device on a regular schedule. If you prefer, you can adjust this schedule to better suit your needs. 

Improvements 

• Now, when the device undergoes a firmware update, it will only remain in the updating state and will no longer transition to different states midway

• Now you can use "Digital zoom" function when the video is paused

• All the table headers in User Portal can now be re-ordered at your will simply using mouse drag

• Improved the UI interface of Deep Search 

Network speaker setup in Device settings and actions in Alarm management

You can now configure "Audio deterrent" function in alarm management. The network speaker will broadcast a pre-recorded audio clip when intruders are detected.

Multiple language settings on User Portal

Users can use VORTEX in their preferred language (English/ Japanese)

Powerline frequency settings

Adjustable via VORTEX portal to fit your local standard. The default is 60Hz.

Improvements

• Audio output volume is muted by default in Live view and playback

• You can now copy text in the table on the Device page (i.e. Device MAC)

• You can now enter Device settings by clicking Grid component in Grid view

• Add "link only valid for a month" wording in the user invitation email
