3. Cloud-Native Platform Built for Alarm Monitoring Service Providers: VORTEX RVM platform
We will be showcasing a prototype of the VORTEX RVM (Remote Video Monitoring) platform at ISC West.
This platform is specifically designed for alarm monitoring service providers, with a strong focus on event-driven alarm handling and centralized management of multi-customer environments.
The VORTEX RVM platform enables automatic synchronization with organizations and devices through API integration with the VORTEX end-user portal, allowing seamless access to alarms, live streams, and other operational data.
It supports multi-role permission control and remote system management, helping service providers significantly reduce alarm handling efforts, and operational costs.
Operators can receive real-time alerts through the VORTEX RVM interface, view both live and recorded video, and follow customized SOP workflows, with all actions logged for auditing and reporting purposes.
Looking ahead, we plan to further enhance the platform’s modular architecture, expand support for third-party device integration, and introduce more AI-powered search and event analysis capabilities to enable smarter, faster, and more scalable remote monitoring solutions.
4. Deep Integration with Kisi Cloud-Based Access Control System
VORTEX seamlessly integrates with the Kisi cloud-based access control system via API, bridging access events with corresponding video footage. Now VORTEX supports tailgating detection on Kisi. Current key features include:
- Event Tagging & Quick Playback: Access events like door openings or unauthorized entries are automatically time-stamped for fast video retrieval via VORTEX Message Center.
- Tailgating Detection: AI analytics from VORTEX integrates Kisi's system to identify unauthorized entries following valid access and instantly flag or alert via Kisi.
- Real-Time Alerts: Abnormal access triggers immediate notifications through VORTEX or Kisi.
- Remote Unlock with Video Confirmation: Administrators can verify visitors and unlock doors directly from the VORTEX interface.
This integration transforms VORTEX into a smarter, unified platform combining video surveillance with intelligent access control.
