Automatic OTA Firmware Updates
- VORTEX now performs over-the-air firmware updates automatically for all NVRs and cameras in xLite organizations. Updates run during a default window of 00:00–02:00 based on each device's local timezone, minimizing disruption to your daily operations.
- All existing NVRs and cameras must be manually upgraded to the mandatory baseline version before automatic updates can begin. Devices running older firmware will not receive automatic OTA updates and will remain on their current version until this requirement is met. We strongly recommend completing these upgrades first.
- You can go to System > Global device settings > Auto firmware update to customize the preferred update schedule.
