このカメラは、暗い部分と明るい部分の間でバランスの取れた露出を保証し、バランスの取れたコントラストで均一な明るさ、露出の映像を撮影します。LEDバックライトディスプレイ内の画像さえも鮮明に写すことができ、監視性能が向上します。
照明条件に関係なく、カメラは人や車の通過を検知すると自動的にLED（電球色）を作動させます。これにより、鮮明なカラー画像が再現されるだけでなく、犯罪等を事前に防ぐ抑止効果も期待できます。
